Chris Nowinski had the nickname Chris Harvard bestowed upon him due to a quirk in the casting of the MTV/WWE reality show Tough Enough. There were two cast members with Chris as a first name, and last names starting with N. To distinguish them, the producers of the program referred to one as Chris, and one as Chris Harvard. Known across the country by that name, Chris was forced to use Chris Harvard on the independent wrestling circuit. When he joined the WWE, they officially referred to him as Christopher Nowinski, but to the fans, he's still Chris Harvard.
